Jawaharlal Nehru Botanical Garden was established in the year 1987,and situated at an altitude ranging between 1800 mts. to 2000 mts. it consists of virgin tempreature forest of oaksand as many as 50 different kinds of tree species.The garden is a centre of a panoramic view for the tourist and also gives a glimpse of Rumtek Monastery along with Fambongla Wildlife Sanctuary.It opens to visitors at 10:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs.
