This zoo is the largest in terms of area with an encompassing area of 450 acres full of exotic species of animals and birds amidst rolling landscapes of natural habitat. Half of this wilderness has been allotted for the deer park. The other 300 types of specimens are allowed to roam freely in huge enclosures. There is a separate enclosure called the crocodile park.
Borra Caves
These natural formations in the Eastern Ghats are situated in Anantagiri mandal at a distance of 100 kms form Vizag. The caves have geological and historical importance. Deep in the caves there is a Shivalingam over which water drops from above, which is said to be the origin of the river Gosthani. The river flowing from these caves with natural rearing sounds is a beautiful sight to enjoy.
