By Airways: Though Vijayawada has its own airport at Gannavaram, 20 km from the city, there are no scheduled flights operating at present. IA and Jet have daily flights to Hyderabad (the nearest airport for Vijayawada) from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai.
From here, regular rail and road connections will take you to Vijayawada (270 km).
