A place called Udwada known as "the Mecca of the Zoroastrians" is very near from Dahanu, which attracts large number of tourists. There is a magnificent temple, which houses the sacred fire of the Zoroastrians that is considered as the prime attraction of the region. It is believed that this fire has been kept alive for almost a thousand years.
