This small town mainly runs along Mahatma Gandhi Marg (MG Marg). It becomes Shivaji Marg in the southern part of town.
There is a Rs 25 fee Entry Fee to Matheran. The Matheran railway station, where the Miniature train departs, is in the center of town.

The Tourist Office is opposite the railway station and they have a map of the town.
The GPO is south of the railway station on Mahatma Gandhi Marg, on the left.
The Union Bank of India, MG Rd, changes money. You can change money in the better hotels, but this facility is often for guests only.
